Looking for some Memorial Day weekend entertainment? Laurel Highlands Horse Pulling Association (LHHPA.com) has the answer! The annual pull has proven to be one of the premier pulls of the year. THIS WILL ONCE AGAIN BE OUR BOUNTY PULL (SEE WEBSITE FOR RULES). 

Where: This pull will be held at the Porchview Arena in Acme PA. This is an indoor arena, so we will be pulling rain or shine! For directions to Porchview, please visit their web site at www.porchviewstables-arena.com.

When: Saturday May 25th. The lightweights will start at 1:00 P.M. and the heavyweights will follow.

We will be pulling lights and heavies. The lightweights are 3400#Weighing will begin at 10AM. You will weigh on digital scales and there will be no allowance! Have your horses ready to weigh. You must have one fresh horse in order to pull back in the heavy class.

Stalls are available at the Westmoreland County fairgrounds (about 5 miles away). Everyone is encouraged to come Friday night and put your horses up at the fairgrounds.

Purse: 1^st – $700   2^nd – $400 3^rd - $300 4^th – $250 5^th -$225 6^th thru ?– $200  

Horsemanship Awards in each class:  $250 and set of halters        

There will be a Calcutta in both classes.

We will use the Laurel Highlands Dynomometer

Any team eligible for the bounty will be drug tested. The bounty in the lightweight is 4250# and the heavyweight is 4950#.
